The Sylvain Morey 2022 Burgundy Red is a tribute to Pinot Noir, Burgundy's king of grape varieties. This wine, marked by a generous and sunny 2022 vintage, offers an expressive nose of wild strawberries, blackcurrants and wilted roses, with a hint of toasted wood.
On the palate, the structure is balanced, with supple but present tannins and a mineral freshness that evokes the region's limestone soils. Aromas of prune, thyme and blond tobacco unfold in a long and persistent finish, ideal for accompanying dishes such as coq au vin, roast saddle of lamb or stuffed mushrooms.
