Description
The history of Delord dates back to 1893, when the company's cellar master decided to transform white wine into Armagnac using a still. In 1932, Gaston and Georges created the Delord armagnac house, and their bas armagnacs were subsequently sold as far afield as the United States. The estate is still family-run, with 75 hectares of vines, most of which are farmed organically.
Armagnac is the oldest eau de vie in France, and is generally drunk at the end of a meal as a digestive. Ideally, taste your old armagnac from the Delord house in balloon glasses, this type of glass allows you to feel the aromatic richness and complexity of this eau de vie. Enjoy your old Delord armagnac vintage 1964!
