Description

This Organic CAIRANNE White from Domaine A.BERTHET-RAYNE is the Cuvée Castel MIREIO. This 2022 vintage offers a brilliant and beautiful golden yellow color. The nose offers fruity notes which evoke yellow peach, mirabelle plum and quince jelly and also vanilla notes which betray the passage in wood of this vintage. The second nose after aeration is fine and delicate, it brings us more towards floral notes reminiscent of broom and acacia flower. On the palate we immediately have an impression of balance and elegance which then confirms the fruity notes with a hint of exotic fruits and vanilla envisaged on the nose.

This very beautiful white wine from the Rhône valley is composed of 30% Roussanne, 30% Clairette, 10% white Grenache, 10% Marsanne, 10% Viognier and 10% Bourboulenc.

The estate specifies on the wine's technical sheet that the Grenache, Clairette, Roussanne and Viognier grape varieties are vinified in barrels with aging for 6 months, while Marsanne and Bourboulenc benefit from vatting in stainless steel vats.

This wine goes well with asparagus, vegetable terrines, sweetbreads, poultry and fish in sauce.
