Description

This 4-year-old Single Cask Single Malt comes from the Auchroisk distillery located in Mulben in the Moray region of Speyside.

This whisky was selected by Patrice Villeger, who sells his selections under the generic brand ART n CASK.

This Single Malt Single Cask, non-chill filtered, was finished in a Porto cask bearing the number 160 from Quinta do Noval. It was distilled on November 16, 2016, and bottled in September 2021 (almost 5 years). 436 bottles were produced from this first-fill Ruby Porto cask.

When tasting, this magnificent whisky offers a beautiful pink hue, a nose that immediately highlights the Ruby Porto and its fruity side. Then, notes of malt, leather, and spices, including cloves and pepper, emerge. The palate confirms the impressions of pepper and spices, followed by fruity notes in a gentle manner.
