Made using Long Drink Genever as a base and delicately sweetened with brown sugar, this liqueur reveals an intense aromatic profile dominated by notes of freshly roasted coffee, cocoa, cereals, light caramel and subtle spicy hints. Description
An artisanal coffee liqueur with a unique character
This Didier Boulet Coffee Juniper Liqueur has a deep brown colour with mahogany highlights. The nose is dominated by intense aromas of freshly ground coffee, complemented by notes of cocoa, toasted grains, caramel, brown sugar and a subtle hint of juniper.
On the palate, the attack is round, smooth and particularly indulgent. The flavours of roasted coffee come through fully before giving way to notes of dark chocolate, hazelnut, brown sugar and malt. The Long Drink Genever base lends finesse and balance without masking the richness of the coffee. The finish is long, lingering and intensely aromatic.
Served well chilled, this liqueur is the perfect accompaniment to vanilla ice cream, a chocolate fondant, tiramisu or a ‘café gourmand’. It is also the ideal ingredient for making an Espresso Martini or putting a new spin on a wide range of cocktails.
