Chance 30 Ans No. 4 from Brasserie Thiriez is a craft Session IPA created especially to celebrate the brewery’s 30th anniversary; it was founded in 1996 in Esquelbecq, in the Flanders region. This anniversary series pays tribute to the team members: ‘Chance’ is the recipe devised by Théo, the assistant brewer. With an alcohol content of 4.5% ABV, this Session IPA offers a fresh, light and hoppy drinking experience. A limited-edition beer that will appeal to craft beer enthusiasts in the North and collectors of beers brewed to mark Thiriez’s 30th anniversary.
Description
To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Brasserie Thiriez has chosen to give a voice to several members of its team through a series of anniversary beers. Chance, the fourth recipe in this collection, is the creation of Théo, assistant brewer. It’s an original way to celebrate three decades of brewing history whilst highlighting those who are currently part of the brewery’s daily life.
This 75 cl Session IPA has an alcohol content of 4.5% ABV, which ensures it retains a lovely freshness and is very easy to drink. The Session IPA style is particularly appreciated for offering a hoppy, aromatic profile with a more moderate alcohol content than a classic IPA. La Chance thus embodies an accessible and convivial approach to craft beer.
Brasserie Thiriez has played a particularly significant role in the revival of brewing in the North. Based in Esquelbecq since 1996, it brews craft beers using traditional methods. Notably, its beers are unfiltered and unpasteurised, with several of its ranges undergoing secondary fermentation in the bottle.
This anniversary brew therefore has a dual purpose: it celebrates the 30th anniversary of Brasserie Thiriez and highlights the work of Théo, a member of the current brewing team. It is a series that also bears witness to the passing on of expertise between different generations of brewers.
La Chance Session IPA 75 cl is ideal as an aperitif or to accompany a convivial meal. Its hoppy profile pairs particularly well with burgers, grilled meats, spicy dishes or strong cheeses.
A craft beer well worth trying, particularly appealing to fans of Session IPAs, northern-style beers and limited-edition releases.
