WEPPA Blond Beer 75 cl Craft Beer

Description

WEPPA Blonde by Brasserie Breweppes – Authentic French Flanders Craft Beer

WEPPA Blonde Craft Beer 75cl is a distinctive French golden ale brewed by Brasserie Breweppes, located in Herlies, within the Weppes area near Lille in northern France.

This craft beer celebrates the rich brewing heritage of French Flanders, combining traditional techniques with a carefully balanced recipe designed to showcase the natural qualities of malt and hops.

The Hauts-de-France region has a longstanding brewing tradition, particularly associated with generous golden ales and characterful regional beers.

Brasserie Breweppes continues this heritage through its WEPPA range, which includes several distinctive styles such as Blonde, IPA, Triple and Amber.

The WEPPA Blonde is made using a carefully selected combination of three different malts and three hops.

The malts contribute body, rounded texture and cereal aromas, while the hops provide freshness, aromatic complexity and a balanced bitterness.

This combination creates a beer that is both expressive and approachable, offering a distinctive character without excessive intensity.

WEPPA beers are unfiltered and bottle-conditioned, two important characteristics of the brewery's production philosophy.

Bottle conditioning allows carbonation to develop naturally, while the absence of filtration helps preserve the beer's original character.

In the glass, WEPPA Blonde displays an attractive golden colour with a pleasant white head.

The nose offers inviting aromas of malt and cereals, complemented by delicate floral and fruity nuances.

On the palate, the beer begins with a rounded, generous texture.

Malty flavours provide a satisfying foundation, followed by refreshing hop notes that bring balance and liveliness.

The finish is clean and pleasantly bitter, creating an enjoyable and harmonious drinking experience.

At 6% ABV, WEPPA Blonde is a versatile craft beer suitable for both casual enjoyment and food pairing.

It is particularly well suited to traditional northern French cuisine, including Flemish beef stew, charcuterie and roasted meats.

Its balanced profile also makes it an excellent accompaniment to grilled poultry, savoury pies and mild cheeses.

Serving the beer at approximately 6–8°C allows its malty and hoppy aromas to develop while maintaining a refreshing character.

Presented in a generous 75cl bottle, WEPPA Blonde is ideal for sharing during meals or informal gatherings.

Combining authentic regional identity, a distinctive three-malt and three-hop recipe, and traditional bottle conditioning, this French craft beer offers an appealing introduction to the brewing culture of the Weppes and the wider Hauts-de-France region.
