Description

Made from vines over 50 years old, Sylvain Morey's Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Charmois 2022 is a Chardonnay that fully expresses its terroir. Situated on the hillside overlooking the village of Chassagne-Montrachet, at an altitude of 250 metres, the vineyard benefits from an easterly exposure and poor, chalky soils. The 2022 vintage is characterised by remarkable concentration and balance, offering a delicate blend of suppleness and complexity. The wine has aromas of lemon, white flowers and pink grapefruit, with a hint of almond, and an invigorating, flavoursome palate with a lemony finish.
