Pommery is a Champagne house renowned the world over for both its classic cuvées and its more special cuvées. The Pommery estate has 150 years of ancestral know-how, and was founded in 1874 by Madame Pommery. The first brut champagne to enjoy international success was, of course, the Cuvée Classic Brut Royal for the House of Pommery.
Cuvée Louise 2005 a Vintage Champagne
The Pommery brut cuvée Louise embodies all the savoir-faire of this great Champagne house. Cuvée Louise is a tribute to the founder of Pommery champagnes, and the 2005 vintage is special for its finesse and elegance. The grapes for this champagne were grown on Grand Cru terroirs in the Champagne region. After 15 years of ageing in the Pommery cellars, the nose reveals floral aromas of lime blossom and fruity notes such as pear and peach, as well as aromas of vanilla, spice and hazelnut. On the palate, you'll find the same flavours as before, with a clean texture and a hint of bitterness and freshness.
