Rum Rhumrhum PMG 41. Nose: pear, sour cherry. Fresh tomato. Palate: delicious, sweet. Lime, heady flowers. Finish: herbaceous and milky (coconut). Sweet spices. Reduced version of the Rhumrhum PMG Rhum Blanc Agricole, this cuvée is more accessible and offers a good introduction to agricultural rums and spirits from Gianni Capovilla. From her past as a sugar island, Marie-Galante has managed to preserve the cultivation of varieties of sugar cane that are no longer there. Among the most widespread, we commonly find the red cane and the "B47.258", a cane dating from 1947. Harvested by hand and always transported in carts drawn by oxen, these are at the origin of the complex bouquet of Rum Rum.
