Burgundy Red Wines

Burgundy is good if it takes one, the vineyard in France which proves to us how much the terroir is an important element of wine.

Indeed, the vast majority of Burgundy red wines come from a single grape variety: Pinot Noir, even if other grape varieties can produce red wines in Burgundy.
So, a few questions arise:
How to explain such a diversity of wines within the same region? (Castle, Estate, climates, so-called places...)
What are the most famous Burgundy red wines?
Which sub-regions and appellations produce red wine in Burgundy?

There are 5 geographical sectors.
