The AOC Madiran by Lionel Osmin & Cie comes from a blend of Tannat (70%) Cabernet franc (20%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). On the nose this Mon Adour Madiran has aromas of red and black fruits such as blackberry, blueberry, cherry with a slight hint of roasting. The mouth is powerful with supple and silky tannins. Will be associated with the coq au vin, game, bourguignon, cassoulet, lamb ... The harvest is manual and mechanical and begins in October. The vinification is made varietals by varietals. Aging for 10 months, 40% in barrels, followed by malolactic fermentation in vats which will give finesse to the wine as well as silky tannins. Very good aging potential of around 10 years.
