Dalmore Port Wood Reserve's Highlands Single Malt Whiskey is first aged in Bourbon casks before spending a few months in Graham's Porto cask. This passage in Porto cask gives this Dalmore its full dimension. On the nose and on the palate notes of black fruits such as blackberries and blackcurrant are essential. Then it's the turn of candied orange and caramel notes to appear. Roasted and raisin notes close the whole thing.
