the nose of this Magnum of Château Siaurac evokes woody notes and roasting notes. The mouth has a good density then the notes of black fruit point the tip of their nose .... The finish is supple served by extracted but supple tannins. The 2 grape varieties present in this 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc wine. The vinification is done by plot and the bias is to extract a lot of tannins. Aging in oak barrels lasts 12 months with a rotation of 15% new wood. The Guichard family also operates Châteaux Le Prieuré, Vray Croix de Gay. The Château's oenologist, Yannick Reyrel, follows the advice of Stéphane Derenoncourt consultant at the château.
