Ommegang is a high fermentation beer with citrus aromas. The palate is floral and spicy, the finish offers a complex bitterness. This Beer finds its roots in the Ommegang and in the entrance of Charles V to Brussels in 1549. Ommegang did you know, means "procession", Flemish words "omme" (around) and "gang" (walk, walk ). We saw parades of "Ommegang" in several Belgian cities and more particularly in the Flemish country. Always marked by a fervent religious faith, these events also included an important and sumptuous secular participation constituted by corporations, trades, oaths and rhetorical chambers.
