The fabulous journey of the Heresztyn family towards the great wines of Burgundy
The great crisis of 1929 pushed Jan HERESZTYN, the grandfather, to emigrate to France in 1932 from his native Poland. After passing through the North of France and its mines, he settled in Gevrey-Chambertin. By dint of work he was at the head of 4 hectares in 1959.
Two generations have since developed this discreet domain but which is starting to count in Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle Musigny and Morey Saint Denis.
All of the estate's wines are well vinified, with good intensity, great depth, the estate exploits excellent climates and pays particular attention to the choice of its barrels for aging.
