Château la Dominique
La Dominique owes its name to the island where the creator made his fortune
at the end of the 18th century. This Saint Emiion Grand Cru is next to the famous Cheval Blanc, the Conseillante and l'Evangile. This terroir is also located on the edge of Pomerol. The scenery being planted, it is easy to understand that the terroir of this sleeping beauty is quite simply exceptional.
The drainage of the plots has been completely revised, under the leadership of Jean Luc Thunevin. A magnificent and practical cellar has been commissioned from the architect Jean Nouvel. All the elements are there to allow this 23 hectare estate with its 40-year-old vines on average to rise to the level of its glorious neighbors.
