Mont Redon
Since 1344 the vine is connected to the activity of Château Mont Redon.
In 1923, Henri Plantin, the new owner of Mont-Redon, brought together the 2.5 ha of scattered land and then planted vines on the vast stony and wooded plateau which dominated the property. It was the start of a great adventure which led Mont-Redon to exploit today 100 hectares of vines in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, 22 hectares of Côtes-du-Rhône (since 1980) then 32 hectares of Lirac (since 1997).
