The Laplace family carried the fame of the Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic Bilh high. Keepers of tradition, this family has also been able to innovate and offer wines with finesse when Madiran was known to produce powerful but not always very elegant wines. This family of Independent Winegrowers is also at the origin of an astonishing wine, Maydie, produced using the same process as Vintage Ports.
