What to expect from ARDBEG UIGEDAIL Islay?
The undiluted nose of Ardbeg Uigedail Islay is deep and rounded. Soft, mellow and oily, with a silky taste on the palate. A finish again long, combining sweetness and dryness, with notes evoking honey, molasses and a silky touch. This version of Ardbeg high degree (54.2%) was voted "best single malt in the world of the year 2009" by Jim Murray.
Why is This Ardbeg have been called UIGEDAIL?
Uigeadail is the name of the spring that gives the Ardbeg distillery its precious water. Uigeadail is also a subtle blend of 10 and 13 year old barrels as well as some 1970s barrels. Ideal with a cigar.
