Bordeaux Red Wine

The Bordeaux region produces the 3 colors of wine, red wine, white wine and rosé wine.

But the red wine is very majority since it represents between 85 and 90% of the production. The Bordeaux vineyard is the largest AOC vineyard in France both in surface area and in volume of wine produced.
Here are our red Bordeaux wines. You will find Grands Crus and everyday wines. Château, estate or merchant wines. The great appellations of Médoc or Libournais such as Margaux, Saint Julien, Saint Estèphe, Pauillac, Pessac Léognan, Saint Emilion, Pomerol answer the call. But, it is also imperative to look into beautiful less prestigious appellations, such as Haut Médoc, Listrac, Moulis, Graves, Canon Fronsac, Fronsac, Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux, Lalande de Pomerol and all the satellites of Saint Emilion (Lussac St Emilion, Puisseguin St Emilion, St Georges and Montagne St Emilion).
The immense variety of Bordeaux terroirs and the range of grape varieties available make it possible to obtain very different red Bordeaux wines. The fashion for very woody wines, as Robert Parker likes them, now leaves a little more room for wines more marked by the fruit and the expression of each specific terroir.
The grape varieties that make up these red wines are general, Merlot for 66%, Cabernet Sauvignon for 22.5% and Cabernet Franc for 9.5%. Other grape varieties such as Malbec, Petit Verdot and Carménère are making a small place for themselves in the sun, but all of these other grape varieties represent only 2% of the volumes produced.

You will inevitably find with us the style of Bordeaux red wine you are looking for, at the best price !
