Chablis is an appellation Chablis vineyard village, the AOC dates from 1938. The Chablis appellation covers 3150 hectares exclusively in the department of Yonne, it is the northernmost part of the vineyard of Burgundy. The grape variety of Chablis is Chardonnay. This dry white wine from Burgundy has a light yellow color with green reflections on youth. A Chablis is very fresh and mineral, notes of citrus and green apple characterize his nose. Over time notes of toast and hazelnut undergrowth appear. On the palate the mineral and citrus notes are confirmed with finesse. A Chablis can be enjoyed young and can wait 5 years or 10 years without any problems.
