Fleurie is one of the most famous Crus Beaujolais. The Gamay Noir expresses on these steep terroirs of granite its full potential of fruit aromas. A beaujolais de Fleurie presents a dress of a bright red with mauve reflections on the edges. On the nose, fruits such as cherries, raspberries as well as floral notes in general of Iris and violets burst. The palate offers a lively attack with a great fluidity linked to very fine tannins. A Fleurie is tasted very well in its first 5 years and will be appreciated for its freshness qualities on creamy cheese poultry.

The Fleurie appellation has 13 climates which would be the equivalent of the 1st Crus of Fleurie if this distinction existed (the Moriers, the Madonna, Grille Midi ...)
